I anyway don't need so many options.Coming back to this adapter, it was advertised to be a "USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter", but my probe revealed the same to be a 100 Mbps adapter (please refer to attached screenshot, sixth line shows the link speed of this adapter to be 100/100).I tried calling CableCreation with the intention of seeking directions of their technical support to explore the possibility of driver update or something else that could unlock 1,000 Mbps speed. I therefore prefer to buy individual adapters when in need. Though my laptop has Thunderbolt 4 port, I could have brought a Thunderbolt Dock instead with multiple connectivity options but my experience with such devices hasn't been good, primarily because they aren't that stable, they eat up a lot of power (from the laptop's battery) even when they aren't being actively used, they get really hot, and lastly, they consume a lot of space in your laptop bag and and that on your table.
